Power Load & Backup Infrastructure at RKCAT Institute

At RKCAT Institute, we understand the importance of uninterrupted power supply for maintaining a smooth and efficient learning environment. To ensure continuous operation of academic and administrative activities, the institute is equipped with a robust and reliable power infrastructure.

Our current power load capacity includes:

Transformer – 100 KVA
A dedicated 100 KVA transformer efficiently manages the primary power requirements of the entire campus, ensuring consistent voltage regulation and safe electricity distribution.

Diesel Generator (DG) – 180 KVA
To provide backup during power outages, a powerful 180 KVA diesel generator is installed. It ensures that all critical systems, including classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, and hostels, continue to function without interruption.

Solar Power Plant – 35 KVA
In line with our commitment to sustainability and green energy, RKCAT Institute has a 35 KVA solar power system installed on campus. This initiative not only supports eco-friendly operations but also reduces our dependence on non-renewable energy sources.

Online UPS – 100 KVA
For sensitive electronic equipment and essential operations, a 100 KVA online UPS system provides seamless power backup, protecting systems from voltage fluctuations and ensuring zero downtime during power transitions.

This comprehensive power setup at RKCAT Institute ensures uninterrupted, efficient, and eco-friendly energy supply, supporting a productive academic atmosphere and demonstrating our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.
